Things To Do While Under Quarantine

Due to the spread of Corona Virus (COVID-19) outbreak we are facing so many problems or boredom during Lock Down.

So, here are 7 positive and productive things you can do in self-quarantine that are better than being bored out the whole time.

1. Reconnect with Old Friends

We all have friends who stay far off in distant cities and countries and it is difficult to connect due to time difference and busy schedules. Why not take this opportunity to catch up on group video calls? It is time for some virtual connecting while practicing social distancing. Use Video calling apps to video chat with your long-distance friends.

2. Get a Good Sleep

We all know it is important for one to get a good sleep for at least 7-8 hours a day but difficult for some to practice considering their tight schedules. You could literally catch up on your sleep, stay quarantined and save the world. Imagine! Also, good sleep is the best anti-ageing tool so do more of what you love! Sleep as much as you can now.

 3. Exercise at Home

Going to the gym may not be a great option right now, and you may not have exercise equipment or dumbbells at home. Don’t worry, though, because there are plenty of ways to stay in shape without weights. Like Yoga, Meditation, Dance, Zumba etc.

 4. Cooking

Self-isolating has unfortunately made it difficult for us to eat out at our favourite restaurant, we might not be able to get food delivered to us either. This means now is the perfect time to broaden our culinary skills by practicing some healthy recipes.

 5. Read Books

When we read, not only are we improving memory and empathy, but research has shown that it makes us feel better and more positive too. Science has shown that reading has some amazing health benefits, including helping with depression, cutting stress, and reducing the chances of developing Alzheimer's later in life.

 6. Spend Time With Family

Most of the people are not able to live with their family because of many reasons like studying, working outside or many more reasons. So, because of the spread of Coronavirus we have time to spend with family and making our bond strong. It creates various memories. It also encourages communication and relieves stress.

 7. Deep Cleaning of Home

A clean house is important for the health and well-being of your entire family. Messy house is a bad news, it increases your stress level. A clean home is a healthy home. Clean and organized makes everyone feel happy, but more importantly, it eliminates the stress.

It is rare to find opportunities like these when you get “me time”, follow all this, learn something new, spend a good time with your family and enjoy your Quarantine. #StayHome #StaySafe #StayPositive.
